What do they say, “in like a lion”? Well that’s how I am planning to kick off my March Yoga Classes with Soul Space Yoga! If you choose to join me you can look forward to a fiery core centered class. Once we get nice and warm and strengthen our core we’ll work into a peak pose that I had completely forgotten about until a couple days ago. What warms up must also cool down, so of course we will cap the night with some seated stretches and by being guided into the ever important savasana. I would also like to say that for zoom classes I talk you into savasana just in time for the class to end, so you are able to determine how long you would like to stay there, because of this it is a good idea to carve out a little extra time on top of the scheduled 60 minutes so you can allow your body to properly rest and restore. If that all sounds yummy then you can head over to https://www.soulspaceyoga.ca/ and sign up for the 715pm MST Vinyasa Flow class.
Join me tonight, Feb 22, on zoom with Soul Space Yoga Community at 7:15pm for 60 minutes of flowing, breathing, stretching and strengthening. If you aren’t already a student at Soul Space, head over to their website to find out more details about registering for class. I haven’t decided exactly what is on the movement menu tonight but I know it will be a good one! If you do plan on joining and have anything you would like to request for class you can message me or comment on the Channell Your Yoga Facebook page or through Instagram @danielle.channell and I will try to fit it in.
Join me on zoom tonight at 715 for a quad stretching and heart opening flow. To sign up for the class go to Soul Space Yoga Community’s webpage. I assume most people aren’t going to be busy doing things outside given that it’s -30. We also still aren’t suppose to be having social gatherings, which means most people’s Monday evening is probably wide open 😃. So instead of folding laundry, doing dishes or watching Netflix why don’t you carve some “ME” timeout out of your night and roll out your mat. I know for me if I haven’t done something before I get anxiety about notion of it. I constantly have to remind myself that the only way to overcome the anxiety is to just DO IT. So wether it’s the fact that you haven’t done yoga on zoom before or that you have never used zoom before, don’t let your anxious thoughts hold you back from doing something that will be beneficial for your body and your mind. See you tonight 🙂
I will be leading a live class on Zoom tonight at 715pm. Head on over to https://soulspaceyoga.ca/ to sign up. Since the class is hosted on Zoom, you don’t need to live in Fort St. John to participate. Tonight’s class may end up being a bit stretchier than what I usually teach because I need a good ol’ stretch, but I am sure I will manage to squeeze some strength in there as well. Hope to see a few faces tonight, don’t be shy.
